When you feel that God has forgotten you, remember that God has a time schedule we can't see.
For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay. -Habakkuk 2:3
REVIVE YOUR FAITH
Those who are right with God will live by faith.
You’ve experienced a crisis in your life—one of your own making. We all do from time to time. Now you are desperate to revive your faith. Here are some things to remember:
Experience the freedom that comes with understanding that forgiveness is about God’s grace, not about your mess. Focus on that, and you’ll make great strides.
Cultivate the habit of the Trust Fall (letting go and letting yourself fall into God’s arms) whenever a crisis comes, large or small.
Remember there is a time to deal with your crisis. This involves the cultivation of old-fashioned courage.
Be grateful to God, in any and all circumstances. Realize that you can be thankful for the lessons gleaned from loss, even though you cannot thank God for the bad things that happen.
Strike up a conversation with God again. That can be daunting, especially after guilt or hurt, so go slowly. Your first prayer may be, "Hello, up there. It’s me again.” It’s a start!
Stay proactive in your spiritual journey. The rewards are simply out of this world.
